Balcony connections

Coupure-thermique.jpgFHB ISOPRO balcony connections are used to prevent thermal bridges and condensation inside the building. The insulation material (EPS) has a standard thickness of 8 cm, but is also available in 4 or 6 cm version.  An integrated concrete pressure layer simplifi es the installation within the mould, avoiding collision with the large number of reinforcement bars of the concrete element itself.  This pressure layer is made of a special concrete recipe, only known at the DIBT (Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik).  The reinforcement bars are partially made in stainless steel BST 500 NR.

Studrail

Goujon-anti-poinconnement.jpgThe FDA consists of double headed anchors connected by a perforated strip.  Together with concrete and bending reinforcement, the studrail prevents punching failure.  The double headed anchors can be supplied in Ø 10, 12, 14, 16, 20 en 25 mm, the length between 125 mm and 750 mm.

Couplers / Rebend connections

Coupleurs-d-armatures.jpgFPSA and FTSE couplers are produced with metric thread, going from M12 up to M48, connecting bars Ð10 to Ð40 mm.  They provide a secure and long lasting connection of the in situ concrete elements, the static load capacity of continuous reinforcement bars guaranteed.  There is no requirement to use a special tool to apply a specified torque. FWB rebend connections are used for efficient connection of concrete elements. After casting in, the galvanised cover is removed and the
reinforcement bars are rebended, ready to connect the next load of concrete.

FWB rebend connections benefi t a KOMO-productcertifi cate based on BRL 0506 (Nr. K22915/01).  FALC alligator couplers assure a safe load transfer connecting 2 reinforcement bars, and are particularly used in following situations:
• replacement of damaged reinforcement
• connection of new structures to old structures
• connection of prefabricated concrete structures
• connection of multi-store prefabricated chimneys
 

FTA cast-in channels

Rail-d-ancrage.jpgTogether with the matching Tbolts, FTA cast-in channels provide the solution for almost every fi xing problem.
The channels are manufactured in 3 different versions: hot-dipped galvanised, stainless steel A2 (AISI 304) and stainless steel A4 (AISI 316).  They are available in types 28/15 up to 74/48, both in cold as in hot rolled profi le.
Other available types of channels are:
• FZA and FXA toothed channels for equal load bearing in all directions
• FMA channels for fi xing brickwork
• FTU channels for fi xing metal profi les
